How to use the template
- Save a working copy with the project name, tender reference and revision.
- Copy the issued BOQ lines into the pricing sheet without changing the source file.
- Enter quantities and rates only after checking the applicable documents.
- Use the rate build-up sheet for items that need resource-level detail.
- Add the quote source, date and assumptions to the relevant row.
- Review formula columns, unpriced lines and totals before issue.

The BOQ Pricing sheet multiplies quantity by tender rate to calculate the line amount. Formula cells are shaded so they are easy to distinguish from inputs.
When a spreadsheet stops being enough
A workbook works well when one estimator owns a controlled version. It becomes harder to manage when several people update copies, supplier quotes change, or the priced BOQ needs to feed procurement and project controls.
